We're pleased to offer this collection
of selected architect-designed plans for small dwellings to you. We believe that living small doesn't
need to be inconvenient. Most of our house designs have a separate foyer, full bathroom, allowance for washer/dryer
units, and small, but workable kitchens. Living areas are designed for logical furniture placement. Most bedrooms
can fit a queen-sized bed, and where separate closets are not provided, there is sufficient space for storage furniture such
as an armoir.
A small stand-alone cottage can be an ideal private studio, poolhouse, guesthouse,
vacation cabin, dwelling for an aging parent, adult child, household help, or as a rental income unit. Of course,
living small is living green. A smaller house requires fewer materials to construct, uses less fuel to operate,
and sits lightly on the land - all sustainability concerns. Whatever your needs, we hope you'll find a solution
