Clayton Street Apartment Reconfiguration:

We converted the attic space of an existing apartment building to expand the total number of bedrooms in two existing apartments.  The original space contained the second bedroom of a maisonette unit accessed from the third floor below and a large, non-conforming two bedroom unit completing the balance of the area.  We reconfigured the existing space to add a total of four bedrooms to the two units.  The maisonette unit now has a total of four bedrooms and the attic unit now has three conforming bedrooms.

We also took the opportunity to open the roof area up with skylights to take advantage of the abundant light and wonderful views of the Golden Gate Park panhandle.
